Warrick deputies arrest man after police chase from shoplifting

WARRICK COUNTY,Ky. (WEHT)- A shoplifting call turned into a police chase and a man behind bars.

Warrick County deputies arrested Jamane Trice following the chase.

Officials say they received a call of a man taking items from the Newburgh Walmart and spotted the car near near highway 66.

Deputies say the driver refused to pull over and started a chase that ended in a parking lot on the east side of Evansville.

Trice hit at least one other car during the chase but no serious injuries are reported.
