WATCH: Clouds float along the Ohio River

Local News

(WEHT) – If you’ve been along the Ohio River at times this past week, you may have seen clouds floating along the water.

Water takes a long time to cool, so the water is much warmer than the frigid air directly above it.

When the water evaporates, the air is so cold that the water vapor automatically condenses into a cloud – just like it does above our heads in the atmosphere.
