EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The Evansville Police Department is holding a news conference at 3 p.m. Body camera footage from Monday’s police-involved shooting is expected to be released.

Police officials said Tuesday that the officer was justified in shooting 45-year-old Terry Chanley of Wadesville.

The shooting was captured on camera and police said it shows Chanley aggressively approaching the officer, causing that officer to fear for his life.

Police said the video will be released Wednesday.
