Indiana COVID-19 deaths reach 300


INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WEHT) – The state of Indiana announced 55 new coronavirus deaths on Friday, bringing the total in the state to 300.

Governor Holcomb also announced that new information will begin being added to the ISDH website on Monday, including data involving ethnicity breakdowns of the state’s numbers.

Next week, the state will send additional drive through testing to Vanderburgh County to test symptomatic healthcare workers, essential workers, and first responders.

As of Friday, 41 percent of ICU beds in the state are available, as well as 69 percent of ventilators.
