HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear says the state’s coronavirus numbers are declining.

Here were the reported numbers from today’s press conference.

new cases: 141
total reported number: 8,426
tested: 171,330
recovered 3,069

Beshear announced that restaurants are reopening across the state and groups can gather in 10 people or fewer.

Plus, Kentucky’s governor released guidelines for youth sports. In low contact sports, they will start June 15th.

  • golf
  • tennis
  • mini-golf
  • horseback riding
  • cross-country
  • baseball
  • softball
  • teeball

High contact sports can do groups of 10 workouts (by June 15)

  • Ice hockey
  • Basketball
  • Cheerleading
  • Karate
  • Volleyball

On, June 29th, these sports would be allowed to resume competition with up to 50 spectators.
