Hopkins County officials explain why they don’t yet have results from Kroger testing

Local News

HOPKINS CO., Ky (WEHT) It’s been several days since COVID-19 testing wrapped up in Madisonville, but many people say they still don’t know the results of their tests.

Long lines hamper coronavirus testing

Health officials say the test results are not being sent directly to the local health department, rather they are first being sent to Kroger, then to the Department of Public Heath, before the information is being sent back to the local health departments. Because of this, it is taking longer for local officials to receive positive test results.
