Confirmed COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Hopkins County

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT) – Hopkins County officials announced Thursday there are now 169 confirmed cases, 64 of which have fully recovered. 17 people have died in the county of COVID-19.

There are now 77 confirmed cases of COVID-19 at the long-term care facility Ridgewood Terrace, including 63 residents and 14 staff members.

Hopkins County officials also reminded residents that testing will continue at Madisonville North Hopkins Thursday. The testing site has already administered about 160 tests as of 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Registration is no longer necessary for this site, and it is open to the public. The site will remain open until 5:30 p.m. today. Tests results from this facility should begin coming in tomorrow.
