CHICAGO (WEHT)- Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker said he was “shaken” after learning than infant and an Illinois state employee were among the 13 COVID-19 fatalities announced Saturday.

In total, 465 new COVID-19 cases in the state were confirmed at a press conference Saturday. Dr. Ngozi Ezike of the Illinois Department of Public Health says more than 85 percent of fatalities in the state come from patients over 60 years old.

In total, there are nearly 3,500 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Illinois, along with 47 fatalities.
