Beshear also announced that Kentucky now has 1840 COVID-19 cases and four new deaths, bringing the total to 94 fatalities. One of the fatalities was a 79-year-old patient in Daviess County. Beshear is asking Kentuckians to shine a green light tonight in memory of those who have died.
Beshear says 153 residents in long-term care facilities across Kentucky have tested positive for the virus, along with 92 employees. Beshear added that 21 deaths from the virus in Kentucky have come from long-term care facilities.
