FRANKFORT, Ky. (WEHT)- Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear confirmed there are now 917 known COVID-19 cases and 40 deaths across the commonwealth.

Beshear reiterated that the coming weeks will be critical in the fight against the virus and especially to flatten the curve. Beshear also noted that Kentucky now has more ventilators than positive cases but warns that hospitals and Kentuckians should be prepared for a surge in cases.
