EVSC announces schools closing, will resume after Spring Break

EVANSVILLE, Ind (WEHT) EVSC announced in a press conference Thursday that all schools will close after class Friday through March 27 amid coronavirus concerns.

The following week, starting March 30, will be an e-learning day.

Health officials are also recommending senior citizens stay at home.

Ford Center, Victory Theatre, and Old National Events Plaza will abide by the measures put in place by Governor Holcomb.

Right now, there are not any confirmed cases of coronavirus in our Tri-State area.
