The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office is asking people to avoid a road south of Owensboro Monday morning due to a water main break.
In a post on the sheriff’s office Facebook page, a water main break occurred at the intersection of Hill Bridge Road & Sutherland Road Monday just before 6:00 a.m. The intersection south of Owensboro near Southern Oaks Elementary School is covered with water.
The water department is working to address the problem.
There’s no word on if a boil advisory is expected
