EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The Evansville Water and Sewer Utility will be getting door hangers out this week to announce the beginning of a water main replacement project for the Presidents Neighborhood.
This project will involve installing around 21,000 feet of a water main pipe in the Presidents neighborhood.
Work will also include installing water main valves, 30 hydrant assemblies, 630 service taps and service lines, and connections to existing water mains.
The work area will include new installations on Washington Avenue from S.E. 8th Street to S.E. 2nd Street.
Work will begin in July and it should be complete by April 2020.
