Water Parks and Pools Set to Open Around Tri-State

Many water parks and city pools are set to open this weekend.

Owensboro

According to the City of Owensboro’s website, spray parks at Legion Park, Kendall-Perkins Park, and Smothers Park will all open Saturday.

Hours are 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. through Labor Day.

After that, hours are 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. through September.

The spray parks are free.

Evansville

Hartke Pool is opening on Monday.

The Parks Director says there are some new additions this year, including play structures within the pool and a new shaded area for those needing to get out of the sun.

All other Evansville city pools open June 4.
