Weekend Christmas parades to take place across Tri-State

(WEHT) – There’s plenty of Christmas parades scheduled across the Tri-State for this weekend.

SATURDAY:

  • Henderson’s parade starts at 10:00 a.m. downtown.
  • Mt. Vernon’s parade starts at 5:30 p.m. at 10th and Main streets to riverbend park. There’s a lighting of the tree after.
  • The Fairfield Kiwanis Club Christmas Parade is set for 4:30. Parade Chairperson Jamie Jones says its line-up should be completed by 3:30, and floats will be judged at that time. The parade will be broadcast on 104.9 WFIW and a video stream will be available on wfiwradio.com, courtesy of Fairfield National Bank.
  • Princeton’s 2019 Snowflake Christmas parade will be held downtown at 5:00 p.m.
  • Madisonville’s parade starts at 7:00 p.m.
  • New Harmony’s parade is at 10:30 a.m. It starts at Main & Steam Mill, ends at Main & Granary.

SUNDAY:

  • Boonville’s 73rd annual Christmas Parade is at 2 p.m.
