Fall Festival Half Pot game is more of an overflowing pot

Local News

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Everyone around the Tri-State knows West Side Nut Club Fall Festival is going on this week.

There are the Fall Festival staples like the great food, parades, games, rides, music, and more.

But oh my, how one new addition to the Fall Festival has everyone excited and opening up their wallets and pocketbooks.

That new addition is the Half Pot.

The Half Pot is a game of sorts where people buy tickets for a chance to win half of the amount of money that was put into the pot from ticket sales.

There will be one lucky winner as of Wednesday afternoon the pot was over $140,000!

Where does the other half of the pot go?

The other half goes to the West Side Nut Club and they give it back to the community to support youth clubs and youth programs.

Eyewitness News’ Kelly Austin talked with a couple of Nut Clubbers to get the scoop on the Half Pot and she talked with a few of the Half Pot players to find out what they would do with the money if they won.
