West Side Nut Club talks about changes at this year’s Fall Festival

Local News

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The West Side Nut Club held a meeting as a way to talk to the public on things they may not know about the club.

They talked about what is going on at this year’s Fall Festival, what it’s going to take to get it set up, and things that are changing.

The West Side Nut Club says staging for the parade will now be west of the train tracks to avoid delays from trains passing by.

There will also be a new half pot prize drawing.

“The Festival should not work the way it does, but with the way all the committee chairmen work together, and the community is so good to be behind the Nut Club the way they do, that allows us to give back to the non-profits and things we do throughout the year, and we’re just so happy it’s almost festival time.”

He also wants to remind people about the pet parade, which is free to be involved in.
