Winner of Fall Festival half pot decides to stay anonymous



EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – On Monday, the West Side Nut Club announced a winner had come forward for the Fall Festival half pot.

The winner chose to remain anonymous, as Indiana law allows.

The ticket was purchased after the winner stopped by the FOP booth for a walking taco on the Saturday of the festival.

However, the booth was out of tacos so the winner made their way to buy a ticket.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The West Side Nut Club announced on Monday that it will be holding a press conference Monday at 4:30 p.m. to share information regarding the status of this year’s half pot.

The press conference is being held at the VFW on Wabash Ave.

Eyewitness News plans to provide a live stream starting at 4:30 p.m.

The winning number was 2-6-2-9-8-8-4.

The winner will split over $1.2 million with the West Side Nut Club, walking away with over $600,000.
