Western Kentucky fire takes woman’s life

CENTRAL CITY, Ky. (WEHT) – Kentucky state police say 30-year-old Brittany Dukes died of smoke inhalation from a fatal fire in Western Kentucky.

The fire happened around 4 in the morning last Wednesday in Central City, one day after a fatal fire in Greenville, where a mother and her three year old daughter died.

There is no apparent link between the fires. The cause for each remains under investigation.
