It doesn’t take a lot of snow to create problems on the highway, and Sunday’s winter weather proved no different.
Vanderburgh County Sheriff Dave Wedding told Eyewitness News they responded to 36 slide-offs or crashes in Vanderburgh County alone, as of 8:00 p.m.
Kentucky State Police also reported several incidents.
Indiana State Police found most of their trouble in Southwestern Indiana on Interstate 64.
“It’s going to take a little while for INDOT and county highway crews to get the roadways to safe means, so it’s always best if possible to stay home,” said Indiana State Police Sergeant Todd Ringle.
