Woman accused of drug trafficking after traffic stop

BROWDER, Ky. (WEHT) – The Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Office said a traffic stop last week led to a drug trafficking arrest.

On Wednesday, authorities stopped a vehicle on US 431 South.

During the traffic stop, the vehicle was searched.

The sheriff’s office said suspected methamphetamine, plastic baggies, and digital scales were found along with marijuana and other drug paraphernalia.

Tomika Beliles, 30 of Drakesboro, was arrested and charged with trafficking meth, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Beliles also faces a traffic violation regarding a headlight.

Beliles was arrested and sent to the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
