Woman in truck involved in two state chase identified, being held on unrelated charges


HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – We’re learning more about a woman who was riding in a truck that took police on a two state chase Wednesday afternoon.

We now know more about a woman who riding shotgun in a truck that took police from two states on a chase Wednesday afternoon.

Our cameras captured 23-year-old Christopher Norman – evading police and flying down the Highway 41 strip in Henderson. The pursuit began in Evansville.

Authorities say he also rammed a police vehicle.

Norman crashed into a guardrail near the Zion Exit in Henderson. He faces charges in Kentucky and Indiana but will face the Kentucky charges first.

The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office identified the woman in the truck as Madison Garriott. She’s being held on unrelated warrants out of Vanderburgh and Warrick counties.

Garriott is not facing any charges in Kentucky, but is being held without bond in the Henderson County Jail.

Her next court date is scheduled for Nov. 25th at 10AM.

Norman is being held on a $40,000 cash bond. He’s scheduled to be back in court on Nov. 25th at 10AM.

Norman is charged with failure to appear, fleeing police, wanton endangerment, and fugitive from another state.
