Woman sentenced in connection with New Year’s Day shooting

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – A person arrested in connection with a deadly shooting on New Year’s Day of 2018 was sentenced Monday.

Charissa Robinson was sentenced to 30 years.

She pleaded guilty to charges of murder, attempt to commit robbery resulting in bodily injury, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, and theft of a firearm.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) A woman arrested in connection with a deadly shooting on New Year’s Day 2018 is set to be sentenced on Monday.

18 -year-old Charissa Robinson pleaded Guilty to charges of Murder, Attempt to Commit Robbery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury, Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery, and Theft of a Firearm.

Evansville Police say D’Angelo White was shot while driving on S. Bedford Avenue.

Officers say he was killed over $500 worth of marijuana.

One of Robinson’s co-defendants, Mykel Blair, has already been sentenced to 45 years in prison.
