Madisonville’s summer outdoor concert series, “Friday Night Live,” is expanding to include two new events.
The concert series will include two new, free events called “Downtown Alive” and “Live at Lunch.”
“Downtown Alive” is going to take place on the second Thursday of June, July and August. It will feature a single, 90-minute performance at each event.
The first “Downtown Alive” takes place on June 9 from 6-7:30 p.m. It will feature local musician and recording artist, Ray Ligon.
“Live at Lunch” is taking place on the second Friday of June, July and August. It will take place from noon-1 p.m. Several restaurants will be offering “grab and go” lunch specials during these 45-minute performances.
In June, Ferrell’s, Blackwell’s, and the Crowded House are participating in the lunch specials for “Live at Lunch.”
All musical performances take place at First United Bank Plaza at 35 East Center St. in downtown Madisonville.
