Madisonville Police arrest four for drug trafficking

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (WEHT) Shortly before 1:30 Wednesday afternoon, Madisonville Police say they encountered a vehicle they recognized as having fled from them in March.

Officers say they performed a traffic stop on Grapevine Road, during which they found an ounce of suspected crystal meth.

The occupants of the vehicle, 24-year-old Brittney Riley and 40-year-old Jonathan Wilson, were arrested.

Police say their traffic stop investigation led them to the 300 block of Audubon Loop in an attempt to locate a wanted fugitive.

At the residence, officers say they arrested 35-year-old Adrienne Broughton, who has an active arrest warrant for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card.

Police say they also located 41-year-old April McCarty, who was arrested and charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance.

Riley, Wilson, Broughton and McCarty are all incarcerated at The Hopkins County Jail.
