Man accused in Buckskin murder appears in court

One of two people accused in a fatal shooting and mobile home fire appeared in court on Wednesday.

Jacob Wilson is charged in the death of 62-year-old Samuel Bethe.

Bethe’s body was found in a burning Buckskin, Indiana home back in March.

On Wednesday, the defense had an issue regarding jury questions.

The court denied the defense’s request to add question to the questionnaire regarding a change in venue.

The Gibson County Prosecutor’s Office said the trial is set for June 10.

Wednesday’s hearing surrounding a change of venue request. The judge laid over the new change of venue until a hearing set for January 25.

Ashley Robling is also accused in the shooting and fire.
