The man accused in a Friday night shooting in Evansville is due in court, today.

Fifty-six-year old Robert Ballard is accused of Murder and Attempted Murder in the Delaware Street incident.

According to Evansville police, Ballard targeted two people in a car.

One of the victims, 38-year-old Amanda Weir, died the next day from her injuries.

Another victim is still recovering.

Police say there were children in the car at the time of the shootings, and were not injured.

Ballard is due in court at 1:00 this afternoon.

His bail has been set at $1 million.
