Evansville Police say they’ve arrested a man for the 19th time in 7 years.
Officers say Anthony Burris Sr. was arrested Monday on intimidation charges. They say Burris and a group of about ten people wen to the victim’s house in the 1100 block of W. Oregon Street to fight over a stolen moped.
During the confrontation, officers say Burris began swinging a knife near the victim. According to police, Burris was gone when they got to the scene, but they say he was arrested nearby just a short time later.
Police say Burris is no stranger to them. They say they’ve arrested him 19 times since 2005. They most recent, before Monday’s incident, was back in January of 2012, when Burris was charged with breaking into several cars in the area of Fulton and Fountain.
