The McLean County Board of Education confirms that McLean County Public Schools Superintendent Terry Hayes has been suspended.
Chairman Bill Lovell said Hayes was suspended one day with pay.
The school board did not confirm a specific reason for the suspension, but a meeting has been scheduled for 9 a.m. Wednesday to discuss the suspension.
The McLean County Sheriff’s Office and Kentucky State Police both told Eyewitness News they currently have no criminal investigations open related to Hayes.
