Sunday evening around 10:30, Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Office deputies received information regarding two individuals with warrants, driving on S.R. 181 N, near Greenville.
Deputies report that they attempted to stop the vehicle near Duvall Chapel Road, but the car sped up and failed to stop.
Authorities say the vehicle eventually stopped near Muhlenberg County High School’s West Campus.
The driver, 40-year-old Phillip Conway of Bremen, Kentucky, was placed under arrest.
Conway was charged with Fleeing or Evading Police, Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving on a DUI Suspended License and Reckless Driving.
Conway was also served with three bench warrants.
The vehicle’s passenger, 31-year-old Amberly Doll of Greenville, Kentucky, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, as well as being served with a Parole Violation Warrant.
Another passenger, 32-year-old Kimberly McDonald of Powderly, Kentucky, was also served with a bench warrant.
All three have been lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
