Mexican Hot Cocoa Mix


Sometimes the best holiday gifts are the ones we create to share with our loved ones. Food blogger Allie Peach joined us Friday to teach us how to make a delicious gift for those on our gift lists.

16 oz. Jar – Mexican Hot Cocoa Mix

  • ¾ cup granulated sug or raw, organic date sugar
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa or raw cocao powder
  • ¼ cup mini semi-sweet morsels
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/8-1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (depending on desired heat)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract or vanilla bean seeds scraped from pod
  • one serving = two scoops into a mug with one cup milk
