HANCOCK CO., Ky. (WEHT) — The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office says a man seen driving with Jacoby Gray on Thursday night has been arrested in connection to Gray’s death.

According to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, Michael Bickett, 27, was driving while under the influence of alcohol on Thursday night when he crashed in Perry County on State Road 37. Authorities say Gray was injured and left the vehicle during the winter storm.

Authorities discovered the crash scene and then found Gray’s Body. Bickett was arrested in Hawesville and charged with leaving the scene of an accident – failure to render aid or assistance, wanton endangerment and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of an alcoholic substance.

Deputies say Jacoby Gray was last seen shortly before 11 p.m. on Thursday, December 22. The Sheriff’s Department has not released a cause of death.
