Traffic on the Twin Bridges is moving smoothly now as the bridge is all clear, but earlier Thursday workers were on the bridge starting repair work.
Only one lane on the southbound bridge for workers installing navigation lights for river traffic.
Despite the cones being up from around 8 a.m. – 2 p.m., there were no delays reported.
The southbound restrictions will be in place Friday and they’re expected to continue for the next two to three weeks including weekends.
The work is then expected to switch to the northbound bridge.
Eyewitness News will keep you posted as to how the work progresses.
