A stormy Friday morning in western Kentucky leaves some damage in the town of Philpot in Daviess County.
Eyewitness Newsfound uprooted trees and minor roof damage to a few buildings on Kentucky 762 and Bratcher Hill Rd.
“A storm came through around 8:30 a.m.” said Coy Filbert. “It’s been raining all night then this morning. We don’t know if it was a tornado or what, but it knocked a bunch of trees down, made a lot of noise, we were definitely scared.”
A large tree fell on his family’s garage. Luckily, he says the old corvette inside was not seriously damaged. No one was hurt.
