A Muhlenberg County family played the feud on Family Feud Wednesday morning.

Barbara and Ric Wester, along with their daughters Abby, Jill, and Sara, were contestants on the show, which is seen on Local 7 WTVW.

A family that laughs together, played the feud together.

“It was an emotional week for all of us,” said Abby Scott.

The family, originally from Belton, appeared on Wednesday’s episode eight months after this episode show was taped.

“It’s an adrenaline rush and it takes a bit to calm down. You’re just shook still after its all over,” Scott says.

“I think I was more excited at the beginning and then as the show progressed more, I think my nerves got worse,” adds Sara Sabin.

This was more than for a chance to win big prizes, it was a shot at redemption, after losing in a past appearance back in 2015.

“We never got control of the board,” Sabin said, recalling their last appearance. “We never even got to talk. We played a horrible game. But the producer came up to us, and she wants to bring us back one day.”

They won on this second chance, but fell short of the grand prize. But the Westers say they’d do it again.

“It’s just the most awesome experience ever,” Scott says.

“Do it again in a heartbeat,” Sabin adds.
