SAUGATUCK, Mich. (WXYZ/ABC) – A roaming deer has made one Michigan couple’s engagement photo shoot one to remember.

The couple, Dori Anne and Austin Swiercz, were having their photos taken in Saugatuck, Michigan, when the “super friendly” deer walked up to them.

The photos were taken by Inna Kova Photography, who shared the interaction on Facebook.

“It’s not everyday a deer photobombs your engagement session,” the post read. “I mean this was probably the coolest thing ever & Dori and Austin were the perfect couple to experience this, they took it like champs!”

The photographer shared 16 photos from the shoot. Since July 24, the post has gained over 49,000 reactions and has been shared more than 50,000 times and counting.

The photographer noted that the deer was super nice, although they were still a bit nervous to be around the animal.
