DIGITAL DAILY: Intensive Care Nurses will give birth to 36 babies this year

National News

(ABC News) – In Kansas City, MO, the Intensive Care Nursery at Children’s Mercy Hospital is expecting more babies than usual.

Hospital officials say that 36 babies are expected to be born to ICN Nurses this year.

Twenty of those babies have already made their way into the world with another 16 on their way.

“After having a baby, I think we’re so much more empathetic and can connect a little bit more with the moms and dads here.”

Of the twenty born already, only two are girls.

These nurses spend their days and nights caring for babies from across the Midwest who need the most advanced care.
