Environmental group says Roundup is in some cereals

(CNN) — An environmental group says several popular breakfast foods have Roundup herbicide in them.

Cheerios and Nature Valley products are among the foods cited as containing trace amounts of glyphosate.

Some experts believe the herbicide causes cancer.

General Mills says herbicide residue can make its way into products, but it says levels are much lower than what the federal government allows.
