Four dead after Missouri crash

(WEHT)- Investigators are working to determine what caused a crash on I-64 in Saint Charles County, Missouri that claimed four lives Saturday.

Authorities say the crash happened when a pickup truck crossed the median and slammed into a minivan and an SUV. Two 44-year-old women were pronounced dead at the scene while two 12-year-old girls died shortly after arriving at a local hospital. All four were from Louisville, Ky.

The 29-year-old driver of the truck and the 69-year-old driver of the SUV both survived. Police are reportedly now looking into the crash as a criminal investigation.
