(CNN) – A Kenton County, Kentucky judge has been suspended after being charged with nine counts of misconduct.
Family Circuit Judge Dawn Gentry faces various accusations including nepotism, retaliation against local government employees, and having affairs in a courthouse office.
Gentry also allegedly made unwanted sexual advances toward another female lawyer.
The attorney that represents Gentry said the judge is disappointed with the temporary suspension.
If Gentry is found guilty, she could face a formal admonishment or removal from office.
Gentry, who denies all the allegations against her, was elected in 2018 to serve an eight-year term.
