Rolling Thunder finishes possible final ride

National News

WASHINGTON D.C. (CNN) — Sunday marked what could be the last ride for Rolling Thunder.

Hundreds of thousands of motorcyclists made it safely to the nation’s capital.

Organizers said this is the final ride, as the costs of putting on the national event have become prohibitive.

Last year’s event cost about $200,000 for various expenses.
