(WEHT)- Thousands of protesters, including some in the Tri-State area, took to the streets over the weekend to say “no more war” as tensions between the US and Iran continue to rise.
Thousands of troops are now being deployed to the Middle East following an airstrike that killed top Iranian general, Qassem Soleimani.
Approximately 2800 soldiers left Fort Bragg in North Carolina for Kuwait. Earlier in the week, 750 troops from the 82nd Airbone Division were deployed following a disturbance at the US Embassy in Baghdad.
