Two NJ Troopers pull motorist from burning car

Two New Jersey State Troopers pulled a motorist from a burning car Sunday night after he fell asleep at the wheel on his way home from work.

The car hit the guardrail and caught fire.

Troopers Christopher Warwick and Thomas O’Connor found 53-year-old Anthony Branca unconscious behind the wheel.

They worked together to pull Branca out of the car.

Both officers acknowledge saying the rescue was most definitely a two-man job.

“Once we started tugging, we gave him pretty hard tugs, he wasn’t moving at all right way.”

Once Branca regained consciousness, he was seen by EMS, but refused further medical attention.
