OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (CNN) – Two window washers were rescued after a wild and dangerous ride Wednesday morning.
Emergency crews responded to Devon Tower in Oklahoma City at about 7:45 a-m after a lift at the top came loose.
The large basket started swinging out of control with two men inside, both holding on for dear life.
The lift struck the building during the incident and broke some glass.
Fire officials got them down after about 45 minutes.
Both men have injuries and are being checked out.
According to website ” the skyscraper center,” Devon Tower is 844 feet tall and has 52 above ground floors.
