The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet tells Eyewitness News they are planning a southbound daytime lane restriction on the US 41 Twin Bridges on Monday, March 20. The work zone plans to move to the northbound bridge on Tuesday, March 21.
Southbound traffic will be restricted to one lane on Monday to allow contractors to continue work on steel repairs along the end of the bridge.
The southbound work is expected to be in place from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. We are told the southbound traffic will be expected to move to the left-hand or passing lane.
Tuesday’s work on the northbound bridge is set to continue each day through Saturday, March 25.
This project has a target completion date of April 15.
