New details released in Evansville murder investigation

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Eyewitness News is learning new details about the death of 89-year-old Charles Quinn.

His body was found in his East Illinois Street home March 24th.

Adam Hartley, 44, is facing multiple charges, including murder. Court documents show police have Hartley shown on nearby surveillance cameras.

One of the images apparently shows Hartley crouched behind a garage, then walking toward the house minutes after Quinn’s caregiver left.

Police also say they found clothing matching Hartley’s in Quinn’s house, and they say the surveillance shows Hartley walking away from the home carrying items from the house in different clothes.

They say the clothing found in Quinn’s home were similar to the clothes Hartley was wearing when he was arrested in February on unrelated charges.
