HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT)- A new flagpole has been dedicated to local veterans in Owensboro.
Heritage Place, an assisted living facility, dedicated the flagpole in honor of eight veteran residents.
During the inaugural flag-raising, those eight veterans were presented with plaques to kick off Memorial Day Weekend.
