New half pot at Fall Festival

News

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The 98th annual Fall Festival looks to split the pot with thousands this year.

New this year on West Franklin Street, four bright orange booths for a half pot.

Fulton Interiors is building them now.

Tickets are one for $5, three for $10, 20 for $20, or 50 tickets for $40.

The booths will have monitors to show how big the pot is.

Half the money will go to a winner, the rest will be split up for non-profits.

“To really stand out, we want people to be able to see these booths as they walk up and down Franklin Street. Of course, I think those monitors displaying the pot amount will also be good advertising for people to spend the money.”

The half-pot opens Monday, October 7th and the drawing is Saturday night on October 12th.
