New video emerges from Earnhardt plane crash

TENNESSEE (WJHL)- New video has emerged from the day NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt, Jr.’s plane crash landed near Bristol, Tennessee last month.

The surveillance video only lasts a few seconds, but show’s Earnhardt’s plane attempting to land at Elizabethton Municipal Airport.

You can see it rock down the runway with sparks and smoke trailing behind as it crashes.

You then see an airport worker come into frame, then run off.

This was the aftermath – captured on another camera.

You can see Earnhardt’s family as they rush off the plane to safety as others ran over to help.

Luckily, everyone survived, including Dale’s wife, young daughter and a family pet.
