President Donald Trump has imposed 25% tariffs on $250 billion in Chinese imports.
China is one of the largest markets for farmers.
The back-and-forth trade war has people feeling like they are part of a TV drama.
Farmer Christopher Gibbs from Ohio said, “I told folks that I feel like the president has dropped me into a worldwide global reality TV show. I call it, ‘US Trade Survivor.’ My job is to… not to be the one voted off.”
Last week, the president made due on his promise to help farmers with a $16 billion plan to ease the pain of the escalating trade feud.
